Settling In

It's been about a month since I have posted anything, so let me give you an update.

1. I got the position! I started on April 7th, so it's almost been a month! The job is alright. I'm used to working in the food industry, so it's taken a little adjusting for me to realize that a customer isn't going to bring their food back because it was made wrong. The job isn't exactly what I thought it was going to be, but that's not a bad thing.

2. I am living in a small town and I drive 20 minutes to work everyday. On top of that, there's a little more driving once I am actually at work to get to the different sites. Coming from one side of the state where it's flat with plains, it's so beautiful out here. There are so many hills and outside of the city there are so many types of wild life you can see. The colors from the sunset and the sunrise seem completely different from each other , and completely different from back home. The birds are so playful around here, they'll fly so close to you. It's unbelievable, at least from my perspective.

3. I registered for college! YAY! I have to pay some old fees before I can actually attend, but that will get payed over the summer! I will be working on my Associates degree for Business, and it will be done online. Upon receiving my Associates, I will transfer to get my Bachelors degree. Then after my Bachelors degree, I will be taking the TEFL for teaching English in Korea.

4. Learning Korean is at a some-what of a stand still. I review and learn words everyday, but not nearly as many words as I used to. Once I get into the swing of things more, I will definitely be upping my Korean game!

5. I miss all of my family and friends soo much, not a day goes by that I'm not reminded of someone. I can't wait until I go back to visit, especially this first week off. The house where I'm living is full of men. It's me, one of my best friends, and then three other guys. There's another guy, too, but he's barely there. It's a little off-putting to go from somewhere that I had other feminine interaction to just straight up men. BUT, I am doing my best to make sure my hair and skin don't get adjusted to the work that I am doing and the water here.

Well, that's all for now, I shall update later!

잘 가!
